COVID-19 TRAINING PROTOCOLS AND PROCEDURES
COVID-19 DISCLAIMER
True Division Football has undertaken enhanced health & safety measures to protect our players and their families. However, there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any group activity or public place where people are present. COVID-19 is a contagious disease that can lead to severe illness & death. According to local health authorities, senior citizens & individuals with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By participating in our training activities, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure of COVID-19 & True Division Football disclaims any & all liability related thereto.
In accordance with the guidelines & recommendations of local health authorities, we respectfully request that the following individuals not attend our training sessions:
Players and/or parents who are feeling sick or experiencing cold/flu like symptoms (including fever, cough, shortness of breath);
Players and/or parents who have been diagnosed with, or believe to have contracted COVID-19, unless you have had no fever for 72 hours (without use of medicine) & 14 days have passed since the onset of symptoms;
Players and/or parents who have been in contact with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 14 days and;
Players and/or parents who have travelled internationally within the last 14 days.
COVID-19 SELF-SCREENING QUESTIONNAIRE
Prior to entering the training environment, players and/or parents must ask themselves the following:
Do you have a fever?
Do you have a cough?
Do you have difficulty breathing?
Do you have a sore throat, trouble swallowing?
Do you have a runny nose?
Do you have loss of taste or smell?
Do you have nausea, vomiting, diarrhea?
Have you been in close contact with someone who has confirmed or probable COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
Have you returned from travel outside Canada in the past 14 days?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, do NOT attend the training session. Self-isolate and call your health care provider to find out if you need a COVID-19 test.
TRAINING PROTOCOLS & PROCEDURES
No parents, spectators will be permitted inside the facilities (only players and coaches).
Players are to arrive 10 min prior to training (Not earlier)
Players are to enter the facility with a Mask on and remove it at their rest station prior to stepping on the field.
Players are to arrive with their proper gear (no changing in the facility) and put on their football shoes at their rest stations.
Players are to avoid handshakes and physical greetings.
Players are to have a personal hand sanitizer, towel, personal drink bottle in their bags.
CANCELLATION POLICY
No cancellations, refunds, credits, adjustments or make up sessions will be possible. All players must commit to their registered slots, remain in their training blocks and groups for the duration of the training period at the facility.
It is acknowledged that these COVID-19 rules can be adjusted at any time by True Division Football. Non-compliance with the protocols and procedures will lead to the player being removed from the training session at the sole discretion of True Division Football & no refunds will be given. Players and/or parents must be willing to follow any & all adjusted COVID-19 related rules/policies.
